Guidelines:
1) Chapters should be between one paragraph (five sentences) and five pages and should span no more than two scenes. (Remember, the point of a round robin is that the the direction of the story isn't dictated by any one person.)
2) Please use proper spelling, punctuation, grammar, and paragraph breaks. I strongly, strongly suggest having someone proofread (beta) your chapter before posting it. A chapter with lots of misspellings, written as one giant sentence or one giant paragraph, etc, is very difficult to read
and in a situation like this, also breaks the flow of the story. I will happily read anyone's chapter, just email it to me at
annmarie1@columbus.rr.com.
3) Please contribute only once every five chapters. This allows everyone who is interested to participate.
4) Claiming chapters: there are THREE threads for this story instead of the normal two. The story thread, the feedback thread, and this, the guidelines/chapter claim thread. After you've read the latest chapter of the story (and please do make sure you've read the entire story-- I've read RRs where authors clearly haven't and it just doesn't make sense, LOL!) feel free to head over to the chapter claim thread, and, if you have a good idea for the next chapter, as long as no one else has gotten there first, stake your claim! Once you've done that, head off and write your chapter, get it
proofread, and please try to have it up within three days.
5) The goal of this is drama-free, light, airy, happy, cute fluff. Something to make us all smile. No bad stuff necessary! :)
Kaysi's already written the prologue, and I've written the first chapter, but I'll still 'claim' here to illustrate how it's to go. If you're interested, claim your chapter below!
